About
Snappy Sentences is owned and run by me: Sally Bagshaw. I’m a thirty-something year old copywriter and project manager from Brisbane, Australia who loves to write.
I was one of the geeky kids sent to writing camps at school, and I went on to study business communication at university. Over the years I have gradually transitioned from being a traditional copywriter and marketer to focus on all things web. I’ve worked in a wide range of private and government organisations – both big and small – in all sorts of communication, web and project management roles.
Since establishing Snappy Sentences I’ve been lucky enough to have had a variety of clients, and have written many websites, brochures, media releases, and publications – though probably 90 per cent of my work is now web related.
I do work with others and have a network of trustworthy freelancers who work for me when required.
Making headlines (well almost)
The lovely Carlee at the Social Network for Opportunistic Businesswomen (SNOBs) has written a feature on Snappy Sentences for the New Kids on the Block section and I’m also a regular contributor to the website.
Snappy Sentences is also listed on Jonathan Crossfield’s Top 50 Aussie writing blogs.
You can also often find me lurking in the comments section of my favourite blogs – including Men with Pens – or on Twitter, at Interactive Minds events, and the occasional AIMIA presentation.
